This painting was inspired by a family vacation on Lake Champlain in Vermont. We stayed in a quaint cabin overlooking the lake, where we watched the sun rise over the Green Mountains of Vermont and sunset over the Adirondack Mountains of New York. It was a magical place where the rhythm of the day was guided by the movement of the sun.
